In 2004, I obtained my B-Tech Degree in Photography from Tshwane University of Technology, marking the beginning of a two-decade journey in the field of photography. Over the past 20 years, I have taken on a variety of roles within the industry, including studio manager, location scout, production manager, and lighting assistant, while having the opportunity to collaborate with talented photographers from both local and international backgrounds. I have committed myself to refining my skills, ensuring that every aspect of production and data management operates smoothly, and facilitating a seamless handover of deliverables.

Over the years, I have found myself working more in the stills side of TVC sets. I understand the fast pace and short windows of time that are often present on set, and have focused on constantly improving my communication and workflow to meet these demands. Additionally, I am able to ease the pressure on production to efficiently provide gear, as I have my own kit and have orientated myself in the scene to quickly be able to organize any extra gear that is required.

 

As a digital operator, I have developed expertise in using a large range of diverse camera and software systems, as well as gaining knowledge to configure multiple setups to cater to the unique requirements of clients on set.
